Dr. J. Carl Craft M.D. Named in to Madison Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals
Madison Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals has included Dr. J. Carl Craft in the 2007-2008 Edition of the Registry.
Madison Who’s Who wants to be the first to congratulate Dr. Craft on this achievement by notifying his peers that Dr. Craft has in fact reached a level of recognizable success in his professional field of Medicine.
Dr. Craft serves in the position of Chief Scientific Officer for Medicines for Malaria Venture. In this capacity, he is responsible for the Foundation’s portfolio and moving projects from discovery to real drugs which people can use to treat malaria. His broad expanse of experience in drug discovery enables him to efficiently handle his divergent duties. Securing an enviable reputation with a record of accomplishment, Dr. Craft’s employment portfolio includes such positions as head of anti-infective development for Abbott Labs and professor of pediatrics for Tulane University. Motivated by the challenges his position brings, he attributes his career success to his ability to work with people. Looking to the future, Dr. Craft plans to remain in his current role and eventually retire to do consulting.
Medicines for Malaria Venture, established and commencing operations for 1999, is a non for profit Swiss foundation whose goal is to discover and deliver the malaria drugs to people that need them the most. Located in Geneva,
