In 1982, Martin Maisner received his Masters Degree in Law from the Law School at Charles University in Prague. The Faculty of Law is among the four oldest Charles University Faculties. A long tradition of legal education fills this school not only with pride but – above all – with a responsibility for high standards in current scientific and pedagogical work and the development of legal culture. Martin remained at Charles and earned his Doctor of Law two years later. Dr. Maisner maintains membership in:
International Bar Association; Czech Bar Association, Slovak Bar Association; he is Vice President of Czech Systém Integration Society: MULTILAW (an association of independent law firms).

Another important association Martin Maisner holds dear is one with his wife Katarina and their two children Katarina and Barbora. Then there is the affiliation he has with his friends, some of which are in the band of buddies he plays guitar with.
