Newman Ellis Monrose is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of The Monrose Group. Mr. Monrose has been immersed in tourism and aviation for travel and cargo purposes for more than 30 years. His path, since his infancy, has been duly influenced by his family’s seafaring history. Immediately after High School, Newman Monrose began his formal aviation experience working for Carribbean Atlantic Airlines, he balanced this with a three hour shift at Texaco and a night auditor’s job at St. Lucia Beach Hotel. In a short time Mr. Monrose became Island Director for Eastern Airlines which had purchased Caribbean Atlantic Airlines. He was then 18 and he stayed in that position for 22 years at which time Eastern Airlines left St. Lucia, however not before they offered him an overseas posting. Mr. Monrose declined choosing to start his own business, ITC. ITC, part of the Monrose Group, is a travel agency that now represents worldwide airlines, major hotels chains and car rental companies. The ITC Internal Tour Program provides employment opportunities for the local population to show tourists the beautiful sites of St. Lucia.

The Monrose Group other aspect is as a transportation company. This company has established relationships and alliances with different sectors of the world, and includes worldwide air and ocean freight, overland cargo transportation and much more.  The Monrose Group is reputed for its commitment to 100%  customer satisfaction whether for solutions, people, or cargo. Although, Newman Ellis Monrose learned much of what he needed to succeed from his family and work experience he added to his tools a degree in Science from St. Mary’s College.  Speaking of family, he is the father of six.
