Open minded, forward thinking, and highly skilled at diplomatic negotiations are just a few of Uwe Leuschner’s attributes in his position as Director General/C.E.O. for OOO LUXX Russia, a company within the Logistics and Supply Chain Industry. Mr. Leuschner is so adept at his position that in mid March of 2009 he lectured at the German-Russian Business Conference held in Berlin. He spoke on current trends in the logistics market and the opportunities and challenges within the Russian Federation. He speaks several languages too: Russian, English, Czech, and Mandarin, among others. His being a polyglot coupled with his reputation as a man who constantly yields exceptional results have made him a valued member of various national and international business associations.

Mr. Uwe Leuschner has been in the logistics industry since 1992. He entered the industry after building a sturdy foundation through his education. He received an M.B.A. in Foreign Trade at the College of Economics in Prague, and followed that up with his first professional experience in Import/Export. He went onto post-graduate studies in the U.S. and Canada. He held the position of Managing Associate for Coepenicker Projekt & Service GmbH, while remaining an active business consultant and project manager. In 1998 he became Managing Director of FIEGE Eastern Europe GmbH where he stayed in that position for more than a decade. FIEGE Group was established in 1873 and is today one of Europe’s largest logistics service companies with 21,000 employees operating in 18 countries, with 222 worldwide locations.

Mr. Leuschner is the proud father of Nadin, Sophie and Max. During his off hours he likes the peaceful repose of sailing and more active water sports such as swimming and water polo, or the exhilaration a soccer game gives him.
