Parvez Hussain Sufi is the Managing Director of Pharmagen Ltd. Established in 1990, Pharmagen Ltd. is a Pakistani incorporated, Public Limited (non-quoted company). Over the years they have become Pakistan’s leading manufacturer of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). Pharmagen Ltd. has proven experience, successfully promoting and managing sophisticated pharmaceutical bulk drug projects. Currently they are also Pakistan’s leading bulk drug producer manufacturing a broad range of antibiotics. Among Pharmagen Ltd.’s list of customers are: GlaxoSmithKline, Wyeth, Novartis, and Bristol-Myers Squib.

As Managing Director, Parvez Sufi is the person in charge of the company’s day to day operations. He is the senior director of the company holding the overall responsibility for how it is run, and controlling its resources and expenditures.
Over the past 19 years, Mr. Sufi has been instrumental in developing Pharmagen Ltd. into one of the leading Pharmaceutical companies in Pakistan. He has expanded the company setting up a chain of high quality pharmacies in Pakistan’s rural areas, as well as providing clean drinking water to consumers lacking access to it. Parvez Hussain Sufi set up the M.H. Sufi Foundation in 1995, a charitable organization that provides quality education to the country’s rural poor. This foundation is currently running 4 schools in Pakistan’s Hafizabad District where over 2,000 children (30% girls) are being educated.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales decreed Mr. Parvez Hussain Sufi with his FCW (Fellow Chartered Accountant) designation. A designation received after being an Associate Charted Accountant member of the ICAEW for ten years.

Mr. Sufi is a dedicated husband and family man. He has two sons and a daughter. During his leisure time he loves spending time with his family, especially vacationing together.
