Before beginning his service to BNP Paribas, Eric Malinvaud earned his LL.M. from Harvard University Law School, and went on to join the largest French Law Firm, Gide Loyrette Noue. Starting in 1993 he worked in their New York office in the field of general banking, and then in 1995 he transferred to their Paris office to focus on International Capital Markets.
In 2000 he joined BNP Paribas in Paris as head of the legal group in charge of debt instruments. Since being promoted to Co-Head of the entire Capital Market legal group he has also given lectures on Debt Instruments at La Sorbonne University. Mr. Malinvaud oversees most capital market transactions in France and continental Europe.
