Eight days after the earthquake that caused a Utah coal mine to cave in there is still no sign of 6 missing miners. The question on many of our minds is Who’s Who among the missing miners.

While the mining company hasn’t released the identity of the miners, The Associated Press has learned they are:

• Carlos Payan, in his 20s
• Kerry Allred, 57
• Manuel Sanchez, 41
• Brandon Phillips, 24
• Luis Hernandez, age unknown
• Don Erickson, 50

Knowing the miners names brings a personal element to this tragedy. Knowing who they are helps us see them as brothers, husbands, fathers, and sons. Normal guys whose tragedy has lit a prayer in our hearts, and kept us hopeful that good news is on the way.
