Peer Networking at the Carnival

Been to the Carnival lately? Blog Carnivals are a regularly occurring blogging event centered around a group of peers, an industry, a special interest, or whatever the organizing blogger desires the subject matter to be.

“Communities of blog readers, writers, and edition hosts form around specific carnivals. The carnivals provide a nice aggregation of recent posts by the community on a given topic, and the host provides a level of editing and annotation that helps readers find posts they are interested in. Writers who submit their articles to blog carnivals are rewarded with traffic (if the host decides to give them a link and, perhaps, a positive review).”

Whoever your peer network consists of or whatever passion may drive you, a Carnival is a superb method for gathering fresh ideas and innovative insights. The pay off is an ensemble of enthusiasts and experts presenting their best work on a regular basis as well as recognition in your corner of the blogosphere.

If you are new to the genre, I ‘d suggest a visit to Emmanuel Oluwatosin’s Inspiring Excellence, Realising Ambitions. where he is introducing his weekly Friday event;“Carnival of Personal And Company Effectiveness a.k.a Carnival of PACE.” If you can speak to that topic, you are invited to make a submisssion by March 14.
